How it Works
From enquiry to approved drawings
Understanding the way YOU work
We know that every carpentry and joinery company has their way of constructing cabinets, shelving, wardrobes etc. We work within your specifications.
For example, the base unit of a wardrobe always has a 50mm bottom and 18mm top.
When we start working together, the first thing our drawing team does is review your specs!
1. Initial Enquiry
You send over:
- Sketches, photos, or reference images
- Basic dimensions
- Brief description of the job
Rough information is fine — we’ll clarify anything if needed.
2. Review & Quote
We review your job and:
- Confirm scope and complexity
- Provide a fixed price and turnaround time
No hourly rates. No surprises.
3. Confirm your specs
If this is the first time we’ve worked with you, we’ll ask you for your construction specs.
4. Project Confirmation
Once approved:
- We confirm key assumptions (materials, sizes, construction approach)
- Agree timeline
- Begin drafting
5. Initial Drawings Produced
You receive:
- Clear, fully dimensioned drawings
- Layouts, elevations, and key details
- Client-friendly views or 3D visuals
Drawings are created to be practical and buildable — not overcomplicated.
6. Review & Revisions
You check the drawings and:
- Request any changes
- Confirm dimensions and details
Includes:
- 1–2 revision rounds (depending on package)
Getting things right for you and your client.
7. Final Drawings Issued
Once approved, you receive:
- Final workshop-ready drawings (PDF)
- Clean, print-ready format
8. Ready to Build
You now have:
- Clear, accurate drawings
- Confidence in measurements and layout
- A solid basis to build from or present to your client
Built on paper before it’s built on site.
Be sure to read our Terms & Conditions for more information about how we operate.
On-going Monthly Support
For regular workloads, we offer monthly drawing support at a fixed cost.
This works well if you want the benefit of an in-house drafter without the overhead costs.
Monthly support includes:
- Priority turnaround
- Predictable monthly costs
